Joanne is one of our talented freelance instructors, currently advancing her expertise through studies with The School of Canine Science.

Her passion for dog training began at Sheffield Dog Training, where she started with her first dog, Daisy—a spirited Bull Terrier. Joanne's dedication and love for canine behaviour quickly led her to the role of Classroom Assistant.

Today, Joanne is an IMDT-certified dog trainer who is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of the field. She is passionate about keeping her knowledge up to date to provide the most effective, positive, and modern training methods.

With over 10 years of professional experience, Joanne has become a seasoned dog trainer. She is the proud owner of Canine To 5, a thriving dog-walking business serving the south side of Sheffield.
Jane created Sheffield Dog Training to help dog owners build the skills and confidence they need to enjoy life with their dogs.

With over 15 years of experience, Jane brings a genuine passion for dogs, their wellbeing, and their development to everything she does at Sheffield Dog Training.

She has previously been a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and a Kennel Club Assessor, and is currently focusing her time on supporting her new rescue dog as he settles in.

Jane is joined by a fantastic, highly qualified team who bring their own experience, encouragement, and expertise to every class.
Becky is one of our experienced instructors. She graduated from The University of Hull in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Behaviour and Training.
She has experience in the specialised training of assistance dogs and can also offer help to customers on a 1-2-1 basis for more complex behavioural issues. She enjoys attending seminars to ensure she remains up to date with current training practices.
At home, Becky is very much owned by a rescue Lurcher who is blind - he has taught her an incredible amount over their six years together.
